Steve Kordek (December 26, 1911 – February 19, 2012) was an American pinball designer. His innovations to 1930s pinball machines -- including flippers, drop targets, and multiball -- are still present in games today.
Kordek's career spanned more than six decades. He designed games at Genco, Williams, and Bally. His final design was Vacation America for Chicago Gaming in 2002.[1]
Until his death in 2012, Kordek remained active in the pinball industry; he annually visited the Chicago Pinball Expo and spoke about his experiences.[2]
