The Pinball Arcade is a pinball video game developed by FarSight Studios and published by Crave Entertainment, which earlier developed and published Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection and Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection.[1] It was released on the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade on April 4, 2012, and is also released for iOS (including iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad), Android in February and PlayStation Network (including PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita) in April, and will be released for the Nintendo 3DS, Windows, and Macintosh.[2] The game is a simulated collection of real pinball tables licensed by Gottlieb, Williams, Bally, and Stern Pinball, the latter two companies being new to the series. These include: Black Hole, Ripley's Believe It or Not!, Tales of the Arabian Nights, and Theatre of Magic as launch tables.[3] Cirqus Voltaire has been announced on the game's official Facebook page as a downloadable table.[4] Later, they announced on Facebook, "We just added a screenshot of one of our first DLC tables, Medieval Madness.[5] An update in February 2012 on their Facebook page announced: "FarSight is proud to announce that we are scheduled to include Monster Bash and Attack from Mars for the Pinball Arcade within the first six months of our DLC released tables."[6]

TablesEdit

At the time of release, the game featured four tables. These are the tables that have been released so far, though not yet on all platforms.

Farsight currently has plans to release Bally Midway's The Twilight Zone table, but only if it can secure enough funds via Kickstarter to acquire the necessary licenses.[7]
